JOB DONE MAN!!

here we are, Franco M. the best motox suspension tuner of north italy asked me to create a small tool to break apart the new SHOWA shox, OEM on the new suzuki RMZ 2009.

The Project started with some turning on the lathe, to get a smooth cylinder off a block of aluminum.

I had to bore few holes in the center , before move the work-piece on the milling machine.

The piece has been milled to get the 1/2” inch slot , and then milled using a really difficult mil setup (rotary table+ extra vice) to get the internal 24mm slot with two curved edges...

anyway... I had no time to make the photos step by step... check out these final shots....

top side: 1/2” slot machined easily...

bottom side: 24mm 2 faces slot with curved 26mm arches..   (DIFFICULT)
