It is very important to know the RPM and then SFM of workpiece..

this is the kit received...

first step is to machine the plastic box front...

once that the box is completed I have thought where to install the optical sensor, which is perfectly protected into the mill head cover.

the aluminum tape is sticked around the last gear (spindle gear).

The sensor is held in place with a fast way: the glue!

once that the mill top is closed nothing is visible, because sensor and wire are inside in the mill head cover....

yoyo, this is the tachos working, now...

I have tested the tuned engine (motor) of the mill and I can reach 1 to 3100 rpm !!!!
